제목 In vitro evaluation of bioactive molecules-immobilized TiO2 nanofiber mats
초록 Titanium implants having oxidized layer on the surface have shown good biological performances such as improved cell adhesion and differentiation. Therefore, dental and bone implants with nanofibrous structure might enhance osseo-integration. The purpose of this study is to fabricate nanofibrous mats of titania(TiO2). TiO2 nanofibers were fabricated by the electrospinning method using a mixture of Ti(IV)isopropoxide and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) solution. Then the nanofibers were calcined at 800℃. TiO2 nanofibers were characterized by SEM, XRD, FT-IR and ESCA. The potential for use of this nanofiber mat as bone scaffolds was assessed by osteoblastic cells in terms of attachment, proliferation and study in vitro cytotoxicity of the scaffolds.
