Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have become mainstream in the field of small mobile displays due to their superior optoelectrical characteristics such as high contrast ratio, fast response time, wide color gamut, and color purity compared to other sources. OLEDs are actively extending their territories to realize flexible and stretchable devices for future display and lighting applications based on these advantages and their mechanical benefits. For this purpose, high-quality OLED panels are required, composed of an array of RGB pixels with high color quality, efficiency, and a long operational lifetime. In this talk, we would like to discuss strategies for enhancing these characteristics in the aspect of molecular design and device engineering. |
