A styudy of the dynamic mechanical behavior of poly(methyl methacrylate-co-methacrylic acid) ionomers neutralized by sodium salts containing short to long chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid using DMA is presents. In this study, succinic acid, adipic acid, dedecanedioin acid and hexadecanedioinc acid were used as additives. By selecting short to long chain additives, we may be able to see the effects of alkyl chain lengths on the dynamic mechanical and morphology properties of ionomer. The results obtained will be compared with sulfonated polystyrene ionomer with sodium salts. |
