Recently, graphene have a considerable attraction as electrode materials because of their high specific surface area and superior mechanical and electrical properties. In this work, graphene was used as electrode materials for electrochemical water treatment system of wastewater containing non-degradable organics. TPA, DST, and EG were used as non-degradable organics. Graphene was prepared using modified Hummer’s method and the characteristics of graphene were determined by TEM, XRD, and Raman analyses. The degree of electrochemical decomposition of non-degradable organics using grapheme-based electrode system was examined as a function of current density and the change of counter electrode. |
