In this study, novel UV-curable fluorinated poly(urethane-acrylate) (FPUA) copolymer were synthesized from 4,4'-methylenebis(cyclohexyl isocyanate) (H12MDI), poly(tetramethylene oxide) glycol (PTMG), hydroxybutyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA), isobornyl acrylate (IBOA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), 1H,1H,2H,2H--perfluorodecyl acrylate (PFDA) and 1-hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone (Irgacure 184) as a photoinitiator. This study focused on the effects of the fluorinated acrylate content and the PDMS content on the dynamic thermal and mechanical properties, hardness, tensile properties and surface properties (contact angle and surface free energy) of FPUA with different siloxane content but the same fluorine content (A-series) and those with different fluorine content but the same siloxane content (B-series). |
