제목 Carbonaceous filler materials derived from organic precursors for polypropylene composites
초록 The carbonaceous filler material for polypropylene (PP) composites was fabricated through carbonization of citric acid (CA) and tannic acid (TA) and subsequent functionalization with Cashew-Nut-Shell-Liquid (CNSL). Carbonized mixture of citric acid and tannic acid contained particles which are 200 - 400 nm in dimension and 10 – 30 nm in height. After functionalization with CNSL, the particles changed into 200 nm in dimenstion and 6 - 7 nm in height. These carbonized particles were named as bGO and functionalized particles were cbGO. A series of PP/cbGO composites of 0 wt%, 0.5 wt% 1.0 wt% and 2.0 wt% cbGO loading were prepared. The tensile strength, Young’s modulus, flexural strength and flexural modulus all increased with the addition of cbGO. The maximum increment was reached at 2.0wt% filler content and the increment was 20 % (tensile strength), 31 % (Young’s modulus), 26 % (flexural strength) and 32 % (flexural modulus). These composites also showed improved thermal stability.
