Germanium nanoparticle-infused porous silicon (PS) smart particles (SP) for the detection of biomolecules have been developed. PS sample was prepared by anodization of a highly doped P++-type Si wafer in ethanolic HF solution (3:1 (v/v) 48% aqueous HF/ethanol) using a platinum mesh counter electrode. In this work, PS is generated by electrochemically etching two discrete porous multilayered dielectric mirrors into Si, a top layer is referred to as the “DBR” multilayer, and a bottom layer is the “host” layer intended to contain Ge nanoparticles (NPs). -This research was financially supported by the Ministry of Coomerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) and Korea Industrial Technology Foundation (KOTEF) through the Human Resource Training Project for Regional Innovation. |
