Recently, nanofiber has been used for ion exchanger because of the simplification of preparation and widely application. In this study, it was prepared for nanofiber with high impact polystyrene (HIPS) by electrospinning. HIPS nanofiber was crosslinked after electrospinning with crosslinking agent and it could overcome brittle characteristics of polystyrene (PS). HIPS caion exchange nanofiber was formed by treating the crosslinked HIPS nanofiber with concentrated sulfuric acid. It was investigated FT-IR, XPS, water uptake, ion exchange capacity (IEC), SEM, and Contact Angle. Under the optimized condition, it was observed adsorption properties for divalent metal ions such as Co2+, Cu2+. |
