Hydrogels have been studied a lot as a promising material for flexible wearable devices because they have similar mechanical properties to human tissues and unique self-healing properties. Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) can enhance the mechanical performance of hydrogels in the way of forming hydrogen bond between the unreacted oxygen-containing groups existing on the surface of rGO and hydrophilic polymer matrix. Also, The rGO-loaded hydrogel has excellent electronic properties due to the conjugate structures of rGO, thereby improving electrical conductivity. In this study, we prepared the rGO-incorporated hydrogel with high stretchable, self-healable, and high conductivity. The swelling properties, gel fraction and electro-mechanical response under an electric stimulus was investigated. |
