Highly flexible and sensitive piezoresistive composite for application in sensing of body motion |

The present study discusses the importance of stretchable electronic skins with force-sensing capabilities. Recently, the interlocked microstructures have been taken more attention for piezoresistive application. This microstructure has been more sensitive for stress direction and stretchable electronic skins. In the present study, PDMS and graphene have been used to prepare the piezoresistive composite. The composite shows high sensitive properties in presence of different mechanical stimuli. In addition, interlocked microdome pattern of the composite has plays a crucial role on the sensitive capabilities of the composite with changing the different mechanical stimuli. The deformation of the interlocked microdome pattern has taken part a key role on the sensing capabilities of the composite during application of different mechanical stimuli. The interlocked microdome pattern has been confirmed by morphological study. |
