제목 | Energy-transfer study from Ce3+ to Tb3+ in Ba6Ca3Al2Si6O24 host and fabrications of phosphor-converted NUV-LEDs |
초록 | Ba6Ca3Al2Si6O24:Ce3+/Tb3+/Na+ phosphors were prepared using a solid-state reaction in a reducing atmosphere [1]. The X-ray diffraction patterns of the resulting phosphors were analyzed and the peak positions were indexed [1]. The photoluminescence (PL) excitation and emission spectra of the Ce3+/Tb3+/Na+ -doped Ba6Ca3Al2Si6O24 phosphors were clearly monitored with emission quenching as a function of Tb3+ content in Ba5.8-2qCe0.1TbqNa0.1+qCa3Al2Si6O24 (q = 0.05-0.4) [1]. Energy transfer mechanism from Ce3+-Tb3+ was discussed and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images were obtained [1, 2]. The internal quantum efficiency (IQE), color rendering index (CRI), correlated color temperature (CCT), and Commision Internationale de l’Eclairage (CIE) coordinates were characterized for the Ba5.4Ce0.1Tb0.2Na0.3Ca3Al2Si6O24 phosphor using a 365nm LED chip [1, 2].
