제목 Lactide-derived ester oligomers for highly compatible poly(lactide) plasticizer produced through an eco-friendly process
초록 ​Poly(lactide) (PLA) plasticizer was developed with anester structure identical to PLA matrix, utilizing two solvent-free one-pot methodsto improve compatibility. Controlled bulk ring opening oligomerization was usedto synthesize hydroxyl-ended lactide polymers with molar masses of 330−430 gmol−1. They were than esterified to form acetylated lactideoligomers (ALO). Td,5% wasincreased by 23−43 °C and efficient biodegradation of 78−55% was achieved. TheALO plasticizers were added to PLA from 10 to 50 phr, lowerd Tg of PLA, and demonstratedgood compatibility with PLA. Compared to PLA, the blends had lower migrationand more controlled mechanical properties (Eʹ= 889−15 MPa, σy = 74−7MPa, σb = 69−9 MPa, and εb = 13−658 %). Stressrelaxation moduli and minor residual strains following recovery testingrevealed interesting elastomeric characteristics. So the ALO series may be usedas “double green” and “dual performance” PLA plasticizers.
