제목 Thermal and Mechanical Properties of PA/PPO/CNT/Graphene Nanocomposites
초록 Aliphatic Polyamide is the most common polyamide, and the class is often referred to as “polyamide(PA)” or “nylon”. PA has a good balance of properties which makes it a major class of engineering plastics. Polyphenyleneoxide(PPO) has a high glass transition temperature. Also, PPO has advantages of good mechanical property, thermal stability and low moisture absorption. PA/PPO blends are used in a variety of fields, especially automobile parts such as an electro-deposition paintable fender. In this study, CNT and graphene are added to PA/PPO composites respectively in order to improve electrical and mechanical properties. PA/PPO/CNT or graphene nanocomposite samples were prepared using twin screw extruder. Thermal property and electrical conductivity were measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and digital multimeter, respectively. Mechanical properties were measured by universal testing machine(UTM).
