제목 Magnetic Nanopatterns from Monolayer Films of Diblock Copolymer Micelles with Oxygen Plasma Treatment
초록 We fabricated changable magnetic nanopatterns from monolayer films of diblock copolymer micelles containing FeCl3, combining with oxygen plasma treatment as an etching process. Monolayer films of PS-P4VP diblock copolymer micelles with FeCl3 in the P4VP core were simply spin-coated on silicon wafers from their toluene solution, which showed a pseudo-hexagonal nanostructure. Subsequently, the monolayer film of micelles was treated with O2 plasma to remove organic copolymers and oxidize FeCl3, resulting in a pseudo-hexagonal magnetic nanopattern of iron oxides on the silicon substrate. In addition, we were able to fabricate a phase-inverted magnetic nanopattern, i.e., iron oxides with a pseudo-hexagonal array of nanoholes, by simple dipping of FeCl3-loaded micellar films in ethanol before O2 plasma treatment. We characterized the fabricated nanopatterns by TEM, FE-SEM, and AFM, and their magnetic properties by AGM.
