제목 Liquid metal-coated magnetic particles enabled writable, non-wettable stretchable circuit boards and directly assembled circuits
초록 Liquid metal is a compelling conductor to produce soft and stretchable circuit 'boards' by electrically connecting and mechanically supporting electronic components. Although the liquid metal can be used, magnetic liquid metal is appealing because it can be used for actuators and self-healable electronics by external magnetic fields. In this work, mixing ferromagnetic iron particles into the liquid metal (gallium) produces conductive ferrofluids that can be rendered into gallium-coated iron particles by sonication. The surface topography of the particles can be manipulated by forming GaOOH crystals by sonication in DI water, resulting in non-wettable circuit when the particles are cast as a film. The liquid metal shell of the particles is extremely soft, thus, hand-writing of the particles can directly write the conductive traces on elastomeric substrate. The particles dispersed in uncured elastomer can be assembled into microwires to form circuit by applying magnetic fields.
