In this study, the Mn species incorporated to the Cu catalysts deposited on three different supports (γ-Al2O3, TiO2, and Ce0.65Zr0.35O2) and its effect on the catalytic behavior for the CWAO of phenol was investigated. Addition of Mn effectively enhanced the activity of Ce0.65Zr0.35O2 supported Cu catalyst and resistance to metal leaching. The results suggested that the excellent oxygen storage capacity of ceria-based materials plays an important role in the enhancement of activity and stability. |
