제목 Bio-Functionalized Anisotropic Gold Nanoparticle Microarrays in Microfluidic System toward a New Biochip Technology
초록 Gold nanoparticles(AuNP) has used in bio-application due to its chemical stability, biocompatibility, and optical sensitivity. Especially, the optical property of anisotropic AuNP can be the great interest for nano-scale science and practical sensing applications. As the optical property of AuNP, the excitation of surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) can largely enhance the local optical field, so they have been utilized in sensor applications. Therefore, we fabricated three-dimensional arrays of AuNP on flat substrates and within micro-fluidic device for biochip development. Combine with micro-patterning method we could create multiple biosensing system. Previously, we conducted experiments for a biochip system using bare AuNPs by using SPR measurement. In this study, we applied multi-functional surface coating on AuNPs for their high intensity, and it allowed the smaller amount of AuNPs in SPR detection with micro-pattern in micro-fluidic system.
