Research on three dimensional(3-D) structure of solar cell is highly attracted because of their high light harvesting capacity and charge collection efficiency. In view to enhance active surface area and internal scattering of incident light, we have fabricated 3-D Cu2ZnSn(SxSe1-x)4 solar cell on Molybdenum(Mo) substrates assisted by photoresist(PR) micropattern. 3-D solar cell structure consists of regular CZTSSe micropattern on Mo substrate stacked with CdS, i-ZnO, Al doped ZnO, Al sequentially. We have prepared CZTSSe patterned structures by photolithography technique. Micro-arrays of CZT were obtained by deposition on patterned Mo using electrodeposition and sputtering method. The stacked Zn-Sn-Cu precursor thin films were sulfo-selenized to form CZTSSe pattern. Finally, CZTSSe absorbers were coated with thin CdS layer using sol-gel technique. Fabricated 3-D solar cells were characterized by XRD (X-ray diffraction), XRF (X-ray fluorescence analysis) and FE-SEM (field-emission scanning electron microscopy), Photo-conversion efficiency, to study their structural, compositional and morphological and solar cell properties respectively. Further efforts will be carried out to improve the performance of solar cell through various optimizations. |
