Changing of reflection light Pattern in cured cholesteric liquid crystal shells |
초록 |
The liquid crystal(LC) can induce the orientation horizontally or vertically on the surface according to the conditions of the surrounding environment. In general, the orientation of the liquid crystal can change again depending on the influence of the surroundings. but the reactive mesogens has its structure permanently through cross-linking. Nematic liquid crystals, RMM727 (reactive mesogen) and CB15 (chiral dopant) are mixed at a constant ratio to produce a cholesteric liquid crystal having a helical pitch length. This LC is used as a shell part to form double emulsion of W/O/W type. In the case of the double emulsion, the structure is changed by the density difference between the inner part and the shell part. We study the phenomenon that changes according to various conditions. |
