It seems that because microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) sheet with the resin compound such as phenol-formaldehyde(PF) resin and UV-curing acrylic resin is easy to show reinforced mechanical properties by the heat and/or photo-radical polymerization process, various kinds of studies concerning fibrillation of the fiber surface to improve MFC composite strength have been widely carried out. However, the study concerning influence of the resin characteristic such as network structure and strength on the mechanical properties of MFC composite has not fully reported yet. In this study, to investigate how network structure of the cured resin affects the mechanical properties of the final composites, the several kinds of the UV-curing resins having different network strurcture were prepared.
