제목 The properties of nano size Zn – Ti based desulfurization sorbents
초록 The nano-size Zn-Ti-based sorbents were prepared by co-precipitation method using the soluble precursors of Zn, Ti and transition metals like cobalt, nickel, iron and cerium. The sorbents with 5wt% of loading of the each promoter were prepared and tested in the packed reactor at middle temperature condition (H2S absorption at 480oC, regeneration at 580oC). These sorbents showed excellent sulfur removing capacities without deactivation even after 10 cycles of absorption and regeneration. These characteristics were related with the particle size in the nano size range, pore volume, surface area and the dispersion of the transition metals. Also, the promoting effect of ceria on the regeneration was discussed.
