제목 Tuning of surface plasmonic bands using block copolymer nanopattern
초록 Metal nano-rings have recently attracted considerable attention from theoretical, experimental, and devices view points, since the quantum size effects and large surface to volume ratio of the nano-sized rings result in their unique properties, like magnetic, optical, electrical, or chemical sensing. We demonstrate simple process for making continuous gold nano-rings via electroless plating with block copolymer micelle lithography. It is fairy efficient way to give a metal ring structure compared to conventional lithography which is highly expensive and complicate. And we have examined optical properties of not only ring-type but also dot-type prepared by various block copolymers having different molecular weight. This method would be a great synthetic method for arrays of metal nanoparticles with different optical properties onto the variety of substrates.
