Fischer-Tropsch synthesis(FTS) is promising technology for producing key industrial chemicals from non- petroleum based material such as coal, biomass and natural gas. Traditionally, cobalt catalyst has high selectivity of synthesizing long chain hydrocarbon in FTS. This characteristic of cobalt catalyst is influenced by particle size and reduction degree. In this work, using ZIF67, which contain cobalt as a metal and 2-methylimidazole as a ligand, as a precursor of catalyst. Differentiating calcination temperature of ZIF67 is key factor to get carbon imbedded cobalt nanoparticle catalyst. It achieved appropriate particle size and high reducibility. As-synthesized catalyst has high selectivity in long chain hydrocarbon and good activity. |
