제목 Applications of gold nanoparticles in block copolymers for organic memory devices
초록 This work focuses on the preparation of gold nanoparticles stabilized by thiol end-capped polystyrene and their applications in polystyrene-block-poly(2-vinyl pyridine)-block-polystyrene block copolymer nanocomposite films for organic memory devices. The thiol end-capped polystyrene was synthesized through a reversible addition and fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) technique using dibenzyltrithiocarbonate (DBTTC) agent. Using the functionalized polystyrene, gold nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by two-phase methods. Block copolymer thin films containing the nanoparticles were also prepared and applied to the fabrication of organic memory devices. The characteristics of the nanocomposites and devices were investigated and will be presented. Acknowledgement: This work was supported by the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation (KOSEF) grant funded by the Korea government (MOST, No.R01-2007-000-20508-0). Arkema is acknowledged for the kind donation of DBTTC.
