Transient & impedance measurements are widely used to characterize organic device properties, such as carrier mobility, carrier density, carrier lifetime, and the static dielectric constant. The experimental techniques that applied to organic devices are such as transient photovoltage (TPV), transient photocurrent (TPC), charge extraction by linearly increasing voltage (CELIV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Our motivation is to perform a comparison of several different measurement techniques on the same device in order to assess their relative accuracy and reliable applicability to extract device parameters. We conclude the techniques produce similar device parameters, despite of transient or impedance methods. |
