Continuous Li mining from coal ash leachate by an electrospun nanofiber membrane adsorber with lithium ion sieves |
초록 |
Voluminous coal ash production has become a serious environmental problem. But its recoverable levels of valuable metals like lithium makes it a good alternative Li+ resource. Herein, Li+ was mined from coal ash through: mild acid elution, supernatant collection with pH neutralization, convective permeation in an adsorbent nanofiber membrane embedded with lithium ion sieves (H2TiO3), and membrane desorption using mild acid solution. The developed process is simple to operate, energy-efficient and can be employed to mine Li+ from industrial wastes like coal ash.
