Generally, it is very hard to attach adhesive on rubber without heat for industrial application. To solve this problem, Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers of various vinyl acetate (VA) contents were blended with tackifiers, plasticizers, fillers, waxes and antioxidants. In this study, we prepared the EVA based adhesives with the different composition to investigate their adhesion property on ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) sheets. The Peel adhesion for the EVA blends with additives were studied using 180℃ peel strength and T peel strength. Furthermore, the morphological study was performed with field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM) after peel strength measurement. |
