Property control and performance enhancement of hollow TiO2 photocatalysts by various crystallization processes. |
초록 |
Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is one of the promising photocatalysts due to its lots of advantages. However, it is well known that the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 is highly influenced by crystalline properties, such as the crystalline phase and crystallinity. In this point of view, control of the crystalline properties is the most important thing to optimize the performance on TiO2 photocatalysis. In addition, other characteristics such as surface area, water dispersity, degree of the surface defect are also well known as important factors to enhance photocatalytic performance. In this work, we tuned the crystalline properties of hollow TiO2 by using different crystallization strategies such as thermal calcination, hydrothermal treatment and solvothermal one. In this presentation, we systemically discuss the property changes of hollow TiO2 particle by different crystallization method and how photocatalytic activity is improved. |
