제목 Synthesis of Two Novel Blue and Yellow Emitting Tetrazole Based Heteroleptic Iridium (III) Complexes having Phenyl pyridine and Phenyl quinoline Main Skeleton, and Use in Organic Light Emitting Diodes
초록 Two novel blue and yellow emitting tetrazole based neutral heteroleptic iridium(III) complexes bis[difluorophenyl methylpyridyl]iridium [pyridyltetrazole] (dfpmpy)2Ir(pytz) and bis[diphenylquinoline]iridium[pyridyltetrazole] (dpq)2Ir(pytz) were synthesized and structure was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The thermal, electrochemical, photophysical and electroluminescent properties were intrinsically investigated. These Ir (III) complexes are thermally more stable having thermal decomposition temperature (Td 5% weight loss) more than 350 °C. The vital task to alter the color of neutral heteroleptic iridium(III) complexes by exchange ancillary ligand due to that reason we have selected 2-pyridyltetrazole.
