제목 | Light-regulated free radical generable micelles by disturbing cell membrane for enhancing drug release |
초록 | Nanomedicine are widely used not only treatment but also diagnose for various disease. Polymeric micelles as drug carriers allow to be activated in target disease sites, thus protecting the drug bioavailability. In this study, we designed smart delivery system using environment and external stimuli in order to control drug delivery. We developed Light-regulated free radical generable micelles (LRGMs) including photosensitizer (PS) and drugs in order to introduce photochemical internalization (PCI). PCI promotes intracellular drug accumulation via light source. PS reacts photochemically with oxygen molecules to form active oxygen strains, which enable the release of drugs through the membrane removal of endosomes or lysosomes as well as the breakdown of nanoparticles. Therefore, this approach would effectively enhance drug-controlled release and promote the therapeutic efficacy in cancer therapy. |
