제목 Study on Hot Carrier Relaxation and Extraction of Pb-Sn Binary Perovskites
초록 Pb-Sn binary perovskites have gained tremendous research interest due to their lower toxicity, lower optical band gap (~ 1.20 eV) compared to the Pb counterparts. However, understanding of the fundamental carrier dynamics on these materials is unsatisfactory contrary to the well-studied Pb counterparts. In this study, hot carrier photophysics of the Pb-Sn binary perovskites and how they could be utilized in the photovoltaic system have been investigated by using femtosecond Transient Absorption Spectroscopy (TAS). Long-lived hot carrier dynamics with much slower average cooling lifetime (~ 50 ps) were observed, in comparison with the previously reported Pb counterparts. Moreover, to examine the extraction of the hot carrier, the electron transporting layer with high-lying lowest unoccupied molecular orbital was introduced upon perovskite films. Theses results provide possible implementation of perovskite hot carrier solar cells, paving the way for optimized charge extraction processes.
