In this work, the electrochemical properties of Platinum (Pt) supported polymer coated carbon nanotube (PCNT) and graphene nanosheets (GNS) composites were investigated. The Pt-PCNT/GNS composites were prepared by facile synthetic process. The electrochemical surface area (ECSA) and methanol oxidation reaction (MOR) were changed and controlled according to the different mass ratios of PCNT/GNS which affects dispersion of platinum nanoparticles. The Pt-PCNT/GNS composites was showed that better than Pt-GNS, Pt-PCNT. The electrochemical and morphological property of Pt-PCNT/GNS composite was demonstrated by cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), field emission transmission electron microscope (FE-TEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). |
