The phase behavior of the mixtures of some styrenic block copolymers and their homopolymers is studied by using the recently developed random-phase approximation (RPA) theory for compressible block copolymer systems. The composition of block copolymers is fixed at f = ~0.5, and phase behavior of the mixture systems is controlled by changing homopolymer composition. The predicted ordering behavior of the given systems is compared with that determined by various probing methods including polarized microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, and thermal analysis. |
