Misciblity and Properties of Polymer Blends of Poly(epichlorohydrin) (PECH) with Styrene–acrylonitrile copolymer(SAN) |
| 초록 |
Poly(epichlorohydrin) (PECH) was blended with styrene–acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN). Miscibility of this blend was studied with various ratios of PECH. Miscibility, the thermal and mechanical properties of these blends were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA), tensile testing, and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM). It was observed that PECH/SAN blend was homogenous and miscible. The blend miscibility was considered to be driven by the intermolecular attractive interactions between the blend components. |
