Recently, Strengthening international environmental regulations and increasing international fossil fuel price, there is more and more need to reduce greenhouse gas and fossil fuel. so, The concern about energy efficiency improvement is enhanced as green energy industry and weight reduction of product. Accordingly, carbon fiber demand has increased remarkably. This study was carried out to observe thermal properties of polyacrylonitrile used as a precursor of carbon fiber. At same environmental conditions, polymerized by changing the monomer(acrylonitrile(AN), methylacrylate(MA), itaconic acid(IA)) contents and observed thermal properties using DSC, TGA. |
