제목 Effect of microstructures on impact performance and fracture toughness of polyketone/polyamide6/maleated ethylene-octene rubbuer blends
초록 We have studied on blends of polyketone (PK), polyamide 6 (PA6), maleated ethylene octene rubber (mEOR). The alloys were melt processed with various compositions of PK/mEOR and PK/PA6/mEOR blends. In PK/PA/EOR blend, there is no significant change in impact strength compared to PK/EOR blend. By contrast, the introduction of PA6 into PK/mEOR blends elevated the impact strength. Morphology studies show good compatibilization of PK, PA6 and mEOR blends. To find out the relation between microstructure and impact strength, the fracture toughness were studied using double-notched four-point-bending (DN-4PB) and single-edge-notched three point bending (SEN-3PB) techniques.
