Polyketone nanocomposites with enhanced moisture barrier property by non-covalently functionalized graphene with stabilizer |
초록 |
Polymer nanocomposites film with graphene nano platelets (GNP) as filler to improve the barrier property is fabricated. The nanoscale filler with high aspect ratio in polymer matrix largely reduces water vapor transmission rate by highly increasing the pathway of permeants inside the film. Also, in order to make the fillers dispersed uniformly throughout the polymer matrix, stabilizers that can be intermediate material to bind the filler and matrix to increase interaction between them was added. In this study, several pyrene derivatives were used as the stabilizer. Each type of functional group on the pyrene basal plane has different effect on the graphene dispersion, and further affects the final permeability of polymer nanocomposite films. When the composites with different content of filler were compared to neat polymer matrix, it results in higher barrier property, and thus, it made the films to be a potential material in flexible electronic applications. |
