제목 Multiple Si embedded polystyrene particle for Li ion batteries
초록 To solve the problems of Si anode such as volume expansion and poor electrical conductivity, core-shell structure using carbon materials as shell is introduced. Core-shell structure shows good stability, and rate performance. If void space added to core-shell structure, Si anode can get ultra-high stability. But this core-shell structure having void space exhibited very low initial columbic efficiency because of high surface area. In this work, we propose a multiple Si embedded core-shell structure using Si embedded polystyrene particles. Si embedded polystyrene particles are synthesized using hybrid emulsion system. Multiple Si embedded core-shell structure can get low surface area and this structure exhibited higher initial columbic efficiency about 77% and good cycle stability.
