The bulk heterojunction polymer solar cells (PSCs) are capable of solution process and can be manufactured at low price. Recently, two-dimensional(2D) conjugated polymers with conjugated side chains has always been the interest of academia. This type of polymers feature low HOMO energy level for high open-circuit voltage (VOC). Quinacridone, which is known as electron donor and high hole mobility. Quinoxaline is thought to be a acceptor unit due to the electron withdrawing properties of the two imine nitrogen atoms. Benzothiadiazole is thought to be a acceptor unit since it has a strong electron-withdrawing character. Diketopyrrolopyrrole has well conjugated structure with strong π-π interaction and electron-withdrawing effect, which results in efficient charge transport. In this work, we synthesized and characterized four polymers with different conjugated 2D-side groups by Suzuki coupling reaction. We investigated the physical, optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties. |
