Micropatterning of MS-PPV homopolymer and its s-triazine copolymer |

Synthesis of Poly [2,5-bistrimethylsilyl-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MS-PPV) and copolymer MSPPV-co-s-triazine having s-triazine ring as alternate spacer between two p-phenylene vinylene bonds has been carried out. The homopolymer was synthesized by dehydrohalogenation using potassium t-butoxide and copolymerization was carried out by Wittig polycondensation route using potassium t-butoxide and butyl lithium catalysts. Micropattern was obtained on spin coated thin films of polymer with and without photo acid generator (PAG) after 15 min of UV exposure. The fluorescence images of 1m photo-pattern on polymer films will be presented along with their electroluminescence properties. |
