제목 Fabrication of composite membrane with Pt/PEI-SiO2 and its application to PEMFC under self-humidifying condition
초록 Nafion requires water to maintain proton conductivity. The Pt nanoparticles were expected to catalyze the recombination of H2 and O2, leading to a suppression of the chemical short-circuit reaction at the electrodes, while the SiO2 particles were expected to adsorb the water produced at the Pt particles together with the produced at the cathode reaction. In this study, composite materials with highly dispersed Pt nanoparticles on SiO2, funtionalized with polyethyleneimine(PEI). Pt/PEI-SiO2/Nafion composite membrane was recast. As-prepared Pt/PEI-SiO2 particles were identified by TEM, XRD, and FT-IR. The cell performance was conducted under zero humidifying condition.
