Luminescence Solar Concentrators (LSCs) has attracted attention in solar cells due to a variety of shpaes, colors, transparencies and flexibility. They take almost light of any angle, allow sunlight to penetrate the surface of polymer matrix and convey concentrated light onto the edge attached solar cell. In this study, made a comparison between the amorphous and crystals from perylene diimide luminescent dye. Moreover, different concentrations of fluorescent dyes were dispersed in the polymer matrix in order to study the aggregation of the dye. The optical analysis of the LSCs including absorption, emission and fluorescence quantum yield is presented. PV cells attached to the side of the LSCs are used to measure the external quantum efficiency and power conversion efficiency of the devices. |
