제목 Controlled Release of Atorvastatin Using HPMC and PEO by Wet Granulation Method
초록 Modern people is increasing tend to hyperlipidemia patients caused by drinking excessive, overeating, smoking and stress. Treatment drug of hyperlipidemia is known as atorvastatin, lovastatin, simvastatin and drug of fibrate ancestry such as fenofibrate. Atorvastatin, a stable blood level and sustained drug indicate the effect of the following excipients by HPMC-K4MCR, HPMC-K15MCR, HPMC-K100MCR, PEO 4000K, PEO 8000K using prepared sustained release mechanism. These mixtures were prepared by granulation method and tablets were prepared using the direct compression method. Characterization of loxoprofen physical mix analyzed by SEM, FT-IR, PXRD and DSC were used to analyze the crystallinity of the sample. The dissolution study was conducted to find the characterization of dissolution behavior of the loxoprofen. This study suggests the sustained release of atorvastatin was affected by sustained release mechanism.
