제목 Effect of Temperature Profile on Viscosity Measurement of the High-Temperature Molten Salts
초록 Viscosity,density, specific heat, and thermal conductivity are basic and fundamental physical properties of high-temperature molten salts for designing of molten salt reactor(MSR) emerging as a 4th generation nuclear power reactor. These four physical properties are also essential to computational fluid dynamics(CFD). However, it is difficult to establish the physical property measurement systems of high-temperature molten salts because they are highly corrosive and sensitive to trace amount of moisture and oxygen.We established high-temperature viscosity measurement system equipped with in-house designed spindles and chambers made of corrosion-resistant alumina, including an electric furnace. Effect of temperature profile and thermal expansion on the viscosity were investigated to improve the accuracy of data.
