Preparation and characterization of novel hydrogel using bio-mass based monomer |
초록 |
Generally, hydrogel dressing can protect injured skin and keep it from moist which speed up the healing process. We prepared new hydrogel materials for wound dressing using bio-mass monomer. It has a carboxylic group and vinyl group. We initiated the polymerization with photoinitiaor after neutralization of the monomers with sodium hydroxide through the UV irradation. The structure of the prepared polymer was characterized by FT-IR. We confirmed sodium carboxylate group peaks at 1520 cm-1 and 1380 cm-1. We also confirmed C-O group in carboxyl acid at 1000 cm-1. We studied the changes of absorption properties and mechanical properties of the hydrogel according to the content of cross-linking agent, content of photoinitiator, and irradiation time. |
