제목 Synthesis of Hierarchical Porous Carbons Prepared with Various Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons and Their Electrochemical Performance
초록 A series of hierarchical porous carbons (HPCs) were prepared via direct pyrolysis of as-prepared polyaromatic hydrocarbons, including polyanthracene, polyphenanthrene, polyperylene and polycoronene. These polyaromatic hydrocarbons were developed by adopting anthracene, phenanthrene, perylene and coronene as raw materials, anhydrous zinc bromide as Friedel-Crafts catalyst, and bromomethyl methyl ether as cross-linker. The results show that the methylene bridges between phenyl rings generate a hierarchical porous polyaromatic precursor to form three-dimensionally (3D) interconnected micro-, meso- and macroporous network during carbonization. Polyaromatic hydrocarbons were pyrolyzed at 600°C under nitrogen and activated at 900°C in static air. Micropores are present in the 3D interconnected network inside these crosslinked anthracene, phenanthrene, perylene and coronene-based spherical carbon, thus giving an exceptional electrochemically accessible surface area for charge accumulation.
