제목 | Manufacturing of petroleum pitch based spherical carbon and its electrochemical properties |
초록 | In this study, a novel process for shaping the petroleum pitch to the spherical anode material was developed. The process proceeds three steps, shaping, stabilization, and carbonization. The shaping process consisted of two parallel rotary zirconium plates, and the size of the spherical pitch was controlled by a gap of the parallel plate. To consider the effect of shape on the electrochemical properties for lithium-ion batteries, planar sample (shaping-free sample) was also prepared, and it was compared with the spherical sample. The shape of prepared samples was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the size was characterized by the distribution curves of particle size analyzer. The crystal characteristics were investigated by X-ray diffraction, and the electrochemical properties for lithium-ion batteries were considered. |
