We have synthesized three multifunctional materials, SBFTrz, SBFBTP, SBFBFP for electron transport and n-type host materials. For improved electron mobility, we used the spirobifluorene moiety as core. The core was substituted with ridid moieties for planar characteristic which make it have a good electron mobility. The electron mobility and molecular stability were enhanced by those design concept, which increased the efficiency and were stable in the device lifetime. These three materials were tested as electron transport type materials and n-type hosts of the phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes. As the design purpose, these new materials showed high electron mobilities, which is important factors for electron transport type material. By using spirobifluorene as core, we can realize the molecular stability and higher mobility compared to the conventional electron transport material. |
