Shape memory thermoplastic polyurethane (SMPU) and graphene/CNT are used as a shape memorable stretchable conductor. Here, we introduce reentrant structure of porous graphene/SWNT networks for stretchable conductor. In order to retain sufficient and continuous conducting paths and have spacious surface area to react with SMPU, graphene/CNT network was created by directional freezing method and radial compression. This reentrant structure is anisotropic and has negative poisson’s ratio. After SMPU infiltration, the nanocomposite could be successfully fabricated with still maintaining reentrant structure. The graphene/CNT/SMPU composites can be actuated by heating. We measured that the composite has shape memory properties and attained strain-stress curve by using dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). In addition, electrical resistance is reraly changed between unstretched state and 30% stretched state. |
