제목 Syntheses of anti-HIV active triblock copolymers based on polyrotaxane via ATRP.
초록 Although azidothymidine(AZT) is the first approved antiretroviral drug for the treatment of HIV by inhibiting HIV reverse transcriptase and terminating DNA chain synthesis from viral RNA inside the infected cells, it fails to be targeted and sustained in lymphatic tissue, and has serious side effects and drug resistance. In this work, anti-HIV active sulfated triblock copolymers were synthesized by polymerizing AZT monomer on both ends of the polyrotaxane, in which many β-cyclodextrins were threaded onto a poly(propylene glycol) via atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) followed by sulfation with a sulfur trioxide/pyridine complex at 80℃.
